Friend Delcaration

Friend Delcaration

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

A poem for those that had friends die on them

"
We were so young
So full of mischief
Never knowing what the future held
As time grew our devotion amplified
We create a language full of innuendos
That was only meant for us
The feelings we had were unspoken
It was deeply inscribe in our souls
Others around us found us riveting
No matter what we were there for each other

Then one day you got sick
You were afflicted with a deadly syndrome
It ravaged your body relentlessly
You had days to live
I felt lost
powerless
I could not hold the tears
You told me it will be fine
That you maybe gone

You will be there with me in spirit
I knew you were scared
Yet you displayed toughness til the end
As I stand in front of your grave
Reading this poem to you
I hope you like this poem
I want to say thanks for being my friend
I love you now and forever
