Sapphire Dreams

blue mist in a dream

As I lay myself to sleep
I dream something strange
First a blue mist swirls around me
It contours to my body so delicately
The feel of velvet with a mix of silk
Washes over me

The feel penetrates to the depths of my soul
O my it feels like heaven I say to myself
Suddenly the mist backs away from me
It swirls in place
The mist transforms into someone
The mist being is a girl beyond beauty

It walks up to me and kisses me so deeply
I return the favor
We exchange the expression for a while
Before I know it
My dream ended

I awoke
A sensation washed over me
It was the same feeling the blue mist gave
Seems like the mist was self-aware
It wanted me to never forgot what we shared
I shared its assumed sentiments
I never wanted to forget that dream ever
