Wedding JittersA Poem by Huggy BearA man's view on his wedding day......I am so nervous
In front of me lies my fate I am getting married today My bride is beautiful The white gown brings out purity Everything about her body is desirous Her hazel eyes pierce my soul Her lips are full and plumped Ready to seal our enshrined union with a kiss Every step she takes mouth dries out of fright breath tastes acrid My legs become flimsy I feel like I am about to faint With all my might I stand tall I wait patiently for my wife to be She is by my side We both smile at each other She mouths to be that she loves me I can not help but feel good about this We turn out attention to the priest As he speaks of our union I run back the reasons why I love her The one constant that runs in my head She was always supportive of anything I did She accepted me for my quirks Many had advise her to leave me She refuse She declared that I made her happy I rediscovered an eternal love That made me propose to her With this in hand We exchange vows The kiss we shared that day was magical From that day forward we were together Happy as we can be © 2010 Huggy BearReviews
