If Love was person, what would the sex of life be?

If Love was person, what would the sex of Love be?
Love is nasty, gritty and tough.
Love will make it seem like nothing will ever go your way.
Love will hurt you if you are not careful.
Love can also be sweet, beautiful and amazing.
Love has this grand gift of renewing your faith in its force and gives You enough to continue on your journey through. 
These characteristics can be found in both sexes
Yet if love was to manifest itself
It would have the physical appearance of a woman 
Show its inviting beauty.
Within that shell would lie a soul of male
You will test you and push you to the very limits of your life.

Love can raie up or break down
Love can make you happy or sad...Oh love..what shall we do without it?? I love the idea behind this poem...if love were to manifest itself would it be a man or woman??? Hmm I do agree with you..love is beautiful and delicate like a woman with an intensity and strength of a man :o) Awesome poem!!!

Love and sex are two different direction. I believe passion is necessary to maintain a relationship. Love and sex do fall together when necessary. I believe we have basic needs and if we are lucky. We maintain them in a long life with one woman. A excellent poem. Made me think again.
