The Untold TruthA Poem by EmilyAnother Poem I wrote...
Shade and shadows are awoken
When untold truth's are spoken When past becomes present That's when hell really begins Deceiving eyes never fail To tell the world of a awful tale The world knows, no fault. Gossip sometimes, seems worse than assault. You hear the laugh's and the snear's God forbid, you look up and you are in tear's You run and hide away from them all. Before they see you start to fall. You are fragile. Like a china doll upon a shelf, This is how you see yourself. You cannot stumble or trip. Heaven forbid, they see a crack or rip. The society we live in today, Is something I cannot convey. Why focus on someone's faults? Judgement by default, as I like to say. Inside, we are deeper than we display. Layers, upon Layers of human emotion. Exist's in oneself, so stop all this commotion. You are beautiful, in every single way. So please do not fade to grey. Lies and rumors are abrupt and untrue. Have they ever seen the real me or you?
