The Untold Truth

The Untold Truth

A Poem by Emily
"

Another Poem I wrote...

"
Shade and shadows are awoken
When untold truth's are spoken
When past becomes present
That's when hell really begins

Deceiving eyes never fail
To tell the world of a awful tale
The world knows, no fault.
Gossip sometimes, seems worse than assault.

You hear the laugh's and the snear's
God forbid, you look up and you are in tear's
You run and hide away from them all.
Before they see you start to fall.

You are fragile.
Like a china doll upon a shelf,
This is how you see yourself.
You cannot stumble or trip.
Heaven forbid, they see a crack or rip.

The society we live in today,
Is something I cannot convey.
Why focus on someone's faults?
Judgement by default, as I like to say.
Inside, we are deeper than we display.

Layers, upon Layers of human emotion.
Exist's in oneself, so stop all this commotion.
You are beautiful, in every single way.
So please do not fade to grey.

Lies and rumors are abrupt and untrue.
Have they ever seen the real me or you?

Please do not believe in gossip you guys, or please do not spread it.
Have you ever been stabbed in the back?
It doesn't feel good.

Judgement by default indeed. if we were to believe all the gossip we here, then no one on the planet would be deemed sane. It's nothing more than bitterness and the people who do it cause nothing but suffering. By the time it comes to them being the victim, it's already too late for them to take back what they let escape from Pandora's box.
Very well written, thought provoking words. Thank you very much for sharing.

Your opening verse is rather amazing! Sibilant sounds are catching. It is as though you are hissing at the circumstances that are created by ignorance of others.
It is sad that people often have collection as to what they do or why when it comes to other people... Anyway, a nice write!

The bully projects their own insecurities onto another...like a mirror....remember that and feel pity on them for they have not the courage to gaze upon themselves. Be confident in you and you will grow beyond your wildest dreams! Nice poem! :)
