Emily Late or Early

A poem I wrote for my literature class about myself.

“Emily Late or Early” 

Emily with the short, choppy brown hair, and blue grey eyes. Emily of sleepful Sunday mornings and long, eventful weeks of high school.  Emily who's moved by the melody of classical music is determined to find the possibilities in which behold all walks of life. Questions her own dreams too much, fights for the humane just of others, gazes into the night time sky in hopes of someday finding her own future.  

Emily loves being surrounded by her friends, and small but, close knit family. Cares deeply about all people, dreams to become someone her sister can look up too, hopes that the music can carry her to her destination. Because she is afraid of what may lie ahead.  Inside Emily carries her deepest concerns and fondest memories, inside she knows what she truly wants out of life, inside she wants to break free from the symphony and become a solo act. Is a girl who doesn’t want to fear standing out, creates rhapsodies within her head. Believes there is magic within music. Hopes to one day stand taller than her actual height.

This is can totally relate to. Love the imagery.
I didn't follow hoe the title given matches the piece - maybe you can explain your choice..? Is it something like, sooner or later you will be who you want to be?

Thank you for all the sweet reviews. I will be reading your pieces soon. :) And yes, you got the title I chose to a T. Sooner or later, I hope to find myself. I hope in the future I can reach all my goals and aspirations I have set for myself. It's a big dream, but hopefully I can attain it. :)
