Chapter 3.

Ivy went back and sat down at the interviewing table. At the table, there was the woman who brought her in and 2 other men. The first man was a slightly skinny man with stubble and blonde hair. The second man was way bigger than the first man, and had brown hair and a matching beard and mustache.

            The first man introduced himself as Mr. Abbott, and the second man introduced himself as Mr. Jones. The woman introduced herself last as Ms. Parker. Ms. Parker was holding a clipboard, and the 2 men had piles of papers in front of them.

            Ms. Parker slid me a piece of paper saying “The people I love best jump into work head first.”[1] I was so confused, but Ivy felt the need to express Tourette’s in case if that’s what she meant.

            Mr. Abbott said, “Ivy Williams?”

            “Yes?” Ivy said with a stutter.

            “How do you want to start off this interview,” Mr. Parker said, with a confused look on his face.

            “I want to start off with the fact that I have Tourette’s,” Ivy said, with a confident tone.

            “Hahaha, no,” Mr. Parker and Mr. Abbott said together.

            “What?” Ivy said with an upset tone. “I can’t fuc-“

            “No,” Ms. Parker said, with a stern face. Ivy looked at her with a guilty face while clearing her throat a few times.
