Beauty Left Behind

Beauty Left Behind

A Poem by Bree
"

Don't Die. :D

"
'd just thought I'd let you know,
The sun came out today,
And the sky was beautiful,
As the clouds came out to play.

I'd just thought I'd show you,
The cool spring rain and warm summer breeze
And autumns colorful leaves,
Even the snow and chill of a winter freeze.

I'd thought I'd let you see,
A new day has begun,
And even though you want time to stop,
You can't just run.

Let me show you,
The beauty of a sunset,
And the bright colors of the sky,
Where the sun and horizon met.

You have yet to see,
A breath taking sunrise,
So bright and beautiful,
It'll take you by surprise.

I'd just thought I'd share,
The sun started a day brand new,
To erase yesterday and,
Maybe make this day better for you.

I know you don't want new days to come,
I know you think they'll be exactly the same,
But follow me just for today,
To forget your shame.

Just let go,
Let's dance in the rain,
Because you gotta forget,
All about this pain

I'd just thought I'd show you,
The beauty of the stars and moon,
And ho they light up the night sky,
From the visibility of the roof over your room.

I just wanted to tell you,
The sun came out and lit up hope,
You got a chance to move on,
You have a chance to find a way to cope.

And I showed you all these things,
In some important way,
So you can see all the beautiful things you'd leave behind,
If you took your life today.

When one feels like ending it all to me it is because they can't imagine a future that they would like to be alive in. You are right we are not our past just from it. Normally these things of beauty you describe escape me and I over look them day in and day out. Every now and then I will notice natures beauty and think wow. Interesting write with a different kind of meaning.
