Tonight, We KnowA Poem by Delaney
Tonight,
We die. In honor, of our people. Die for what we believe in. Resemble what we are about! All of our lives, We sit alone. Thinking, Waiting, And watching. We watch people love, Hate, Die, And cry. We watch that, And do nothing. From afar, We see a man, Alone, With a couple near by. He is probably thinking, Does he deserve love? Did he have one at one point? We watch this man, Do his own thing. But we know, That he knows, He will die in honor, Of what he believes in. No matter what... No one can change his mind, Except him.
