Eyes

Eyes

A Poem by Amanda

Eyes see other eyes
But eyes cannot see themselves.
Some may call it tragic,
Others may call it simple.
I call it visionary.
We were not meant to see ourselves,
But rather see ourselves through others.
It's the others, the ones we see,
Seeing us,
That reflect who we are.
