jetstream fever

A Chapter by Jim W White

Tin-can condor rattling hot and cold, sandwhiched by stars.. sky punctured by needles of light again and again..

The ground tattooed with electric veins.. an amber spider's web

Brushing heaven.. I dream..

Of screaming machines sucking a fatal breath..

Earth and space carousel ..

Hills rise unnaturaly fast

Dream of a freefall.. to watch the glow expand and the web to embrace me..

With my body broken and my ghost buried.. ripped into the tepid care and feral claw of the dirt
