lullaby

lullaby

A Poem by Sunshine in the rough

gently sing me your lullaby

while the wind blows softly

wisk me off above the coluds

to the light blue sky

where the stars mix with sounds.

speak to my soul

touch my heart

love me without a fault

give me life

heal this weary head of mine

drown me in love

give me a heart

give me a soul

give me life

swing me gently

while you sing your lullaby
