First Snowfall

First Snowfall

A Poem by Jake Murphy

The leaves have fallen
Fall is the color
The wind is calling
A silent holler
Winter is upon us
The cold is here
Warmth is a must
But your breath is all that appears
It's starts to snow
And you shiver with the scene
It begins to really blow
You think to yourself that the mother is mean
You go inside to spend your time
And write this dreadful rhyme
