Through Thick and Thin

Through Thick and Thin

A Poem by Erika
"

A poem about the love of a sister.

"
You were there when I needed you the most
That night that changed our lives
You looked into my eyes and said everything would be alright
I trusted you then and I trust you now
The way we got trough this, I don't know how
Of course we've had our share of fights
Screaming, arguing, especially hurting
But nothing can hurt me most than losing you
I know we don't open up much but I really do love you
You are what keeps me standing
Because of you i don't break down in tears as easily when someone yells at me
You taught me many things
One of those was to stand up to people...
Thank you
You have guided me through thick and thin and never left me alone
Although it wasn't your choice
Thank you again for all you have done
To keep me standing until the day comes
The day that I would never forget
It feels to me, like such a big step
When we go our separate ways
I will always remember those fun and joyful days.

Well done. Quite often it is best to let the words spill out. Once they are on paper they can be tweaked if necessary. I enjoyed the read.
