Wasted

Wasted

A Poem by munkiC munkiDU

I’m tipping up glasses,

Skipping all my classes,

Don’t get far on a string of bus passes,

Tying up laces,

Tight, to get to places

Where I can spend weekends alone to get wasted,

High on the sofa,

Regarded as a loafer,

Don’t do s**t if I’m still hung over,

Forget what I’m here for,

Breaking all the same laws,

Gunna do forever, what I’ve done before.

Hey, this is really good. I love the rhyme and the rhythm. It's really cool, seriously.
I like the topic too! So real, you know? It's got quite a humourous tone... And a quite sad one too, if you think about it.
Fantastic stuff.
