It is freedom she yearned for
To be set free from within
And leave her own footprint in uncharted territory

It’s freedom she was after
To be liberated both body and soul
So that she could be the woman she desired to be

It’s her freedom as well as other's she sort
For many women like her suffered in silence
Imprisoned for a crime they never committed

And as she stared out the window
She desired the day she will be free at last
To love herself first and still be desirable
