FORBIDDEN FRUITA Poem by M.K. JOSEPH
She was as she always has been
Sophisticated in her simple ways Yet so beautiful under the moonlight Her scent lingered in the air A sniff of it sent chilling sensation down my spine And I felt the creeps under my skin It was never meant to happen again And here I was burning with same desire This time more vehemently than the past days Probably something about her poise Kept drawing me closer to her devious ways Yet in all my thinking I couldn’t resist Maybe the scarlet lipstick that wore her lips completely Or the way she bit her lower lip and looked at me Possibly the way she moaned my name I however, knew two things for sure That whatever had begun would never end And that I felt less guilty with every stare, at her naked body. © 2020 M.K.
