Time Will Tell.

Time Will Tell.

A Poem by M.K. JOSEPH

It's time we have that we pay no attention to
Time we lost that we grief and mourn
But the one to come, who cares about it?
Who knows what will happen time after this one?

Everything moves fast when paying no attention
So we miss what important and what's not
But what you capture is which that will help you
Time in hand wisely used

So I take a journey of time back.
The ways are old and paths lost
Who could tell this far we'd come?
And what lays straight ahead for us

Born were we, long ago
As kids we played and even fought.
Paper planes we flew, butterflies we caught and flies we trapped.
Yet nothing mesmerized our minds that the small white birds in the sky

Dreams were born and hopes were made
That soon one day we would soar like eagles
Up in the sky, in the small white birds we admired everyday
And the paths drew us to show where they were from

Lovely memories of what he hoped and what we became
Like eagles we grew wings and rule the skies.
In bigger and better white birds
Leaving a trails for other kids on earth.

Like our predecessors.
Telling them where we're from, and where were headed.
In a matter of time.
