"Kill Bill"A Poem by muldoonclareShort, but sweet to the point. This midnight sun hangs over me, I’m gonna bring it all home, Revolution on the west-side. When I see you, There shall be an inferno, A blazing crescendo, An almighty break through. I’m just retaliating, Evening my score, As I am remembering, You called me your:
“Little w***e.”
Flames ripped through my heart: A bullet to the temple, It was almost state of art, Far from coincidental. Burnt to cinders in my own bed, The place I felt safe, my own home. I refuse to be left here, Call me your:
“Little stalker, that beastly musketeer”. I will not burn in this memory: Give me one sleepless night, Just one more time, While I aim this vengeful gun, Towards my midnight sun. © 2016 muldoonclare |
