Holy! Holy!

When l was reborn and ceased to be an atheist. The joy within me got me writing this poem.

Sing on amidst thunder

And leave the devil without wonder

For within this miraculous gossip

We praise a King truly worth our worship

For when we thought the candle was not to rekindle

It blazed with an amazing flame promising not to dwindle

And t him who does not believe in You. Folly! Folly!

And to him who saveth the folly. Holy! Holy!

 

Chanting melodies of righteousness

To our glorified Highness

Such that within the shame of deceit

In His eyes we are found fit

Fit to embrace our destiny

A destiny supported by more than one testimony

And is He great? Truly! Truly!

And of His state? Truly holy! Holy!

 

Walk through any jungle l shall

Tell me the impossible, l shall not ask how

For I know that to Him who is Place

He shall befriend us with a trace

And yes He is magnificent

Such that His presence needs no consent

To the wise say, ”Holy! Holy!”

To the dumb say, “Holy! Holy!”

For even they not stones will say, “Holy! Holy!”
