The Lost Ones replyA Poem by Mufaro Kudakwashe Joseph MangonoSee the poem "Lost Ones" here l was putting myself in their shoes. P.S some of the Christians do not go to church with the bible they call themselves apostles and pray in the open.
Oh Lord! Look at our souls And in heaven open for us doors For we let our flesh bleed In the name of good deed And within us lies the spirit of conviction Such that we follow Your will without restriction As we consent to become apostles Our bibles to some extent we tussle
The world looks at us with a laugh But we do understand the road is tough Some think we are stupid not to go to the doctor Forgive them, for they do not know you are the Creator That is why we ask you to give them light And let them see between wrong and right For in this world we live Our souls we shall not retrieve
I understand that in this road we are few As we despise pork and stick to our stew And as tradition has it We come forth to continue it For you blessed Abraham with the same acts And Jesus was baptised by John for a fact Such that we thank you Lord for our sight And please help the rest to belief in Your might. © 2013 Mufaro Kudakwashe Joseph Mangono |
