Dis Ease

Dis Ease

A Poem by Samantha M. Tusspot
"

no words.

"
using your beauty to hide my ugliness
from the world which casts its vote
in filthy, whispered words i cannot hear
but i can feel it shake invisible bones
this is vanity in its sickest form
someday i will walk on shattered glass
    with ease
and be unaware of all scrutiny
using my perfection to hide my fear
this world will have one more
    pretty girl
