Fat

Fat

A Poem by Samantha M. Tusspot
"

For those of us who are feeling insecure.

"
Eat me, tapeworm
Infected flesh, stomach acid
Parasitical friend or foe
Explosion of the senses, her alcoholic pride
Drain the fat and part her thighs
We're beautiful inside and out
And when the mourning twilight comes
You can have my cake and eat it too.

You can have my cake and eat it too. and its true everyone is beautiful inside out/ keep writing.

What I love about this piece is that it is basically very simple in it's meaning, yet it has the ability to draw us into the more complex spaces within the human mind. Places that often are seperated and walled off in order for day to day activity to function.
This theme in particular is powerful simply because many people feel it's pull.

Great Ink!

This is somewhat disturbing but that's what makes it good. So many of us feel ugly, too fat, too short, too whatever and this is uplifting in many ways. great write
