Sin is her Sinister smile L o n g legs, black widow frame But she'll crawl back to him every time Forsaking all that remains of the shattered, hideous heart He'll suck the poison out Withdraw the candy venom from her veins And leave her hollow. The emptiness she feels is brief In his arms she feels complete And gripping hers he feels detestable Because she is s i n.
I find that the male in this poem would be considered one who is insecure and desires a fix to exsist, one that is a renewable resource. While the woman is insecure and needs to have fix to bring her up to what she considers is normal.
Both sides of the equation are incomplete entities. Only in that repetitive short lived bonding moment, do they feel somewhat complete.
I loved the imagery on this one. It really makes the piece call out to be read and thought about. Great work!

That's an interesting view on it. Truthfully I was never very sure what this was even about, like with many of my others. It's interesting to hear someone's perspective.
