Star Dust Soul MatesA Poem by Melody TelleriaTime drifts by and loses its edges, fragments of the past invading our minds then vanishing like water that bleeds through sand. Scenery passing by everyday, melting away, as we drone robotically through our magic lost land. painting it's way in brilliance. Celestial nucleus of icy residue, bringing tidings of age old events. It mourns the death of ancient planets and stars now passing through in transience. no artificial lighting tainting the beauty of moonlight that's framed by dazzling shards of blues, reds, and greens, the momentary distortions of light beams. chilled strokes on our face and hair. Twinkling Sirius dominates it's peers, Orion's stars compliment the sky. And though they twinkle in our lifetime, they are but remnants of the past, reminders of the galaxy in its prime, the earths cycle of live to die. understanding that as we love and intimacy forms two into one in the tangles of ecstasy, we are the elements that once made up a star, the atoms of a long ago kaleidoscope explosion, a supernova beauty. resting against each other in silent comfort, lovers in this merciless fleeting of time. Passion flows and minds search for the mysteries of life, we live in chaotic harmony and rhyme. with fiery constellations, two stars orbited a mystery ridden black hole. They transcended into love until time turned them to dust and they journeyed to earth and composed our bodies and souls.
We were star crossed lovers once, separated by time and space, only to meet again in our delicately formed beings, millions of light years away. Star dust soul mates.
