Take Me Away

A winding road of emotions, steep, narrow, dangerous cliffs.
Plumeting heights of my desire for you.
To know, understand, uncover layer after layer of life altering fascination
with the creature of exquisite beauty you are to me.
That finely sharpened mind you possess, clear cut,
organic in thoughts and sending breezes of fresh air my way.
I inhale you deeply, savor the tartness of your essence.
Like fine wine, red and rich, fruits of glory, you steal your way into
my veins, a surge of power and awakening,
like replenished, beautiful, fresh, hot blood.
Take me away to that faraway land in my dreams,
over the looming mountains, through dark and enclosing caves,
into my paradise of glimmering waters where we can plunge in,
emerge, transformed into commandeering gods of our very own Olympus.
