What I Miss The Most In Missing You So

What I Miss The Most In Missing You So

A Poem by Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de Graham
"

Just an old man lookin' back at the very best moments of his life with the woman he loved.

"

What I Miss The Most In Missing You So

What I miss the most in missing you so,

is that first time you slid in the car beside me,

that very first time I ever held your hand,

and that moment when I kissed you,

for that very first time, a time -- I'll never forget.

What I miss the most in missing you,

is your beautiful eyes, your warm smile,

and waking up, each morning -- next to you,

There's plenty of time to think about things,

once it's far too late to matter.

But, what I miss the most, more than anyone

I've ever loved, in this whole world -- is you.

And, what I miss the most in missing you so,

is waking up, each morning -- next to you.

Nice thoughts. Long time since I had a loved one - though I'm rather old now. People can stay or disappear (two males in my case). Nice to read this, Marvin.

'...What I miss the most in missing you...' This single line speaks volumes.
The tender and the seemingly ordinary days haunt us in the most beautiful and painful way.

Thank you!
Grief can be hell, but it must be satisfied. We suffer, hopefully to be renewed.
