I am a small man with a small mind, a small pocket book, in Smalltown, Texas, in a small world, reconciled to small dreams, small expectations, small hopes, and hopes for small losses. Having lost all, a loss not small, I have found hope in small losses to be small and relief from such losses to be smaller still. In this sense, small can leave one at a small loss for small words in small thinking of penning to a small page, in small script, that which I wish in my smallness to say in a small way, laying before your eyes my small expression of a small life as a small person who writes the word small in small increments, rarely ...
