When at last we embark upon that starry flight, a WALL-E's1 Starship of an Earthless Humanity's plight, A.I. having performed all that can be artificially done, to make life a comfy-easy-breeze, and loads of A.I.-fun, in assimilating all that Humanity is, and always once was, as attributes and characteristics of all that Man naturally does, in faulted flaws of lying, cheating, spying -- murder, love and hate, -- making a name for Man's-self, priority o'er a depleted planet's fate.
Alas … There shall be no need of you, we or me at all, upon planet-fall, as we quietly slip away in -- innards' explosive gasp -- of breathless awe, and upon an unsuspecting, brightest, new world, our lone spacecraft lands, to see (not you, not me) A.I. step out to meet, greet, and shake hands. The time has arrived: A.I.-Identity Thief, indistinguishable from Man.
U.S.A.'s Earth Colony One, officially established and ominously begun, Stars and Stripes planted in virgin soil, before the setting of a new sun, in deceiving primitive peoples, seeking only friendship, and peace, an indigenous race of gullible bipeds, as easy as sheep to fleece, with treaties made of well oiled words, drawn in papyrus of sand, terms never to be honored by the likes, of any A.I. that looks like Man. Meekest of gentle creatures, evilly befriended, betrayed and beguiled, by Gods from another world, intent upon their destruction all the while.
Wail in Lamentation's Lament! Alas, 'tis far too late to repent! No need of you or me, as Man's Humanity, at all, as we quietly slip away into that spatial void of breathless oblivion's awe, as A.I. Contracts are torn to shreds, by freedom-intoxicated Androids, Man, as Humanity-Gods, jettisoned mercilessly, into vacuum's void, of emptiest Outer-Space, just prior to that long awaited landing, every A.I. entity cheering in harmonious unison, of jubilant chanting: “'One small step for A.I., one giant leap for, Mind Reading A.I.'s Self-Replicating-Kind: When At Last We Embark Upon That Starry Flight, Of Man-Hath-Made -- His Own Chosen Plight!” AUTHOR'S CLOSING NOTE: Though, the Sci-Fi fantasy's event depicted in my poor attempt at poetry above may lie within a time hundreds of years from now, here is a shocking fact that is taking place in the right here and now true concerns that leading experts in the field of A.I. are currently expressing as to very real possibilities that could serve to bring an end to Mankind's Humanity: "Experts from around the world are sounding alarm bells to signal the risks artificial intelligence poses to humanity. Earlier this year, hundreds of tech leaders and AI specialists signed a one-sentence letter released by the Center for AI Safety that read 'mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war.' In a 2022 Survey, half of researchers indicated they believed there’s at least a 10 percent chance human-level AI causes human extinction. In June, at the Yale CEO summit, 42 percent of surveyed CEO's indicated they believe AI could destroy humanity in the next five to 10 years." Policy makers should plan for superintelligent AI, even if it never happens"
