Wonders shall never cease,

and mountains of lies

piled on high shall never end.

Not for men,

who deem to think that they,

indeed do, think, whilst drinking

from the pool of fools, wherein

all substance of lies begins.

Gullibility is a requirement

for genuine stupidity

of intelligent men rendered

chummy buddies in a game

of gin rummy, wherein,

gin is not a sin, but a win for all

of those who are in the know,

and not within that crowd

of the knowest not at all.

That select crowd, seeking

security blanket's comfort zone

of a good stiff drink in hand to hold,

and tell me another story

to keep me entertained as I refrain

from thinking of reality's

sure and certain fatality.

Guys who tell lies are not

the good guys, but are guys

who tell lies.

Lies are the chief ingredient

of Lie-Pies. Lie-Pies are but a sty

upon one's mind's eyes,

puking forth that puss

which does render eyes blind

to minds even blinder.

“O'!,” they say, in lament,

as though they wish to repent,

“Why didn't someone tell us

the truth of all the lies,

the schemes, the false dreams,

the false hope of false promises,

of conman's scams and grifter's spoofs?”

And the true Watchman, quietly,

lowered his head and said,

“We did, countless Authors and Poets

shouted the warning to your ears,

but you could never hear our tears of fears

of that which was to come for the sum of it all.

Rather, you continued your breeding,

wallowed in your feeding, and pushed

the tasteless morsels of truth most genuine

to the uncomely side of your insatiable plate's

platter of that which does and does not matter.

For filling the inner need,

of mouth, to gut, to butt,

has always rendered but offal tunes

of feces dumped that any chump can see

doth provide as evidence he's been had,

and sold a bill of goods

that will never provide sustenance,

nor security of any future that is wood

fit for nurturing and warming the Human Heart.”

“What were their names!,” they wail and cry,

watching that well of hopes and dreams run dry.

Freedom become Serfdom, Liberty a licentious s**t,

reality but a nightmare, tomorrow but yesterday's

underwear in a world of Humanity in flames,

bought-n-bartered by The Cattlemen's Association

of men-as-Man, hand in hand, of a United Nations.

United for what good reason, for what good end?

To make but dumb Sheeple-People1 Cattle

of all who were once Human, of all thought to be men.

And that by crafty cunning of a devilishly divine plan.

“Can you name one who tried to warn us all!”

“Yes: Poet, Andre Emmanuel Benddavi ben-YEHU.”

(Written December 3rd, 2023)

1 Sheeple People"A word and term I find myself favoring in my attempt to communicate the all too factual reality that people tend to allow themselves"even seem to want"to be led, watered, and fed, much like sheep, trusting others with decisions and truths regarding their lives, their futures, their welfare, and their safety, rather then shouldering up such responsibilities themselves as individuals, in finding and enjoying the comfort of numbers. The word sheeple was first coined by actress and Wall Street Journal writer, Barbara Anderson, in 1984.
