Oh, but I do believe our DNA holds memory of past lives; only one slice of pie per life, but many slices make a whole. And just how many slices does it take to complete the pie of living, with each piece being devoured so that another may be enjoyed? - That I know not, but the memory of my ancestors lives on within this slice that now is "me".
A lot to "digest" in your few lines.........

Okay Sheila, dear,
You done got me started, for a talker I am! ... Wordy too! ... And love to misuse that triple dotted form of punctuation called the ellipsis ... I use it, for me, as two things: A longer extenuation of pause that one gleans from a comma or a long dash ... And on websites that claim to grant one more points for longer reviews, of paid by each character typed, one can reap a commentor's paycheck that is bigger by three times than using single digit dot periods ... Whalla! ...
Now, to the meat of the matter of your brilliantly astute and immaculately deducive mind: Concerning your unspoken (but discreetly well said) topic of RE-incarnation (that is not pertain-able to Carnation's Evaporated Milk on which I was reared and raised), you are spot on in your keen assessment that any and all forms of the (prestigious, indigenously religious?) popular misconception of the concept's notion of individuals returning to life upon this planet Earth as another person (Or a Creature: a Cow, Elephant, Horse, Sheep, Goat, Dog, Cat, even a Rat, or worse as a Dung-Beetle's-Horse T**d-Tumbling-Bug, or slimy to slippery slug?) are in fact of factually and actually merely and only genetic in derivative evidential provability ... You, my dear lady, are a sharp cookie! ...
As a wordy a*s adjective man, who is a studiously in-depth Research Writer — and a studiously well studied-n-schooled until run out as a Heretic's Blaspheming Ex-minister who simply preaches a damnsite different message today of preferring bitter truth to tasty lie pies sold to pew warmers in disguise of salvation that shall never held in hand of owned or experienced before, or after, they enter the grave — my personal attempts at self-made scholarly studies led me across the path of meeting Dr. Robert Eisenman, renowned Archaeologist (the near single handed man who unwaveringly dedicated his life to forcing the RCC to relinquish their hold on the Dead Sea Scrolls, which factually of actually belonged to the soon to be reborn fledgling nation of Israel [ancient & modern day] in the first place) and Professor Emeritus of Middle Eastern Religions: i.e.: Judaism, Christianity, & Islam.
Back during the days when I did Facebook, Robert Eisenman was a friend of mine there. He read and commented on my work, and shared his candid thoughts with me in such a fashion as to allow himself to be quoted in being accused or attack on behalf of topics untrue or baseless and unproven. However, in his book (all 1,000 pages) James The Brother of Jesus, Dr. Eisenman points out his conclusion that the historical (not magical) personages James & Jesus held to teachings and beliefs similar to Buddha that were a part of some aspects of zealous sects of ancient days Judaism. A particular belief that pertains to my wordy explanation is/was that of a commonly held belief in what is termed as, “The Primal Adam.” … What is this or that? … The belief that there was a genetic connection, wherein the fervency of zeal for God, Torah, Temple, and Israel would be reborn in the coming birth of an individual who would genetically possess, displacy, exhibit, and carry out the basic Judaic behavior, say, of Adam (apparently more obedient than it alluded to), Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Amos, Daniel, and so on, but would not be that one and the same identical person long years ago now dead, but a person genetically programmed with the same character traits, though a totally different individual with his/her own identity's individuality of personality.
I have witnessed this in the birth of my youngest son's own son who was named after my Dad months before he was born. And the kid is/was the spitting image of my long dead Dad, and exhibits his character traits and a helluva lot of my Dad's personality …
So, my brightly witty lady, you are absolutely correct in you summation's estimation of conclusions regarding you wonderfully kind comment:
“Oh, but I do believe our DNA holds memory of past lives; only one slice of pie per life, but many slices make a whole. Thanks so much for reading, and I do hope that you enjoy your slice of pie for many, many years to come now … Because, frankly, I could use the good conversation and the excellent company …
