Think of a rifle's bore and all the lore of hidden projectiles within;

ponder upon the whims of whimsical men who claim to be friends;

see them don a mask in taking to task of hiding monsters who lurk;

shine a light upon the plight of blighted souls who are their work ...!

We are born crying creatively to cringe as candy cadavers of death,

in halls of walls to wallow in wandering weary waves seeking breath,

leaving only fools to care in daring to wear faces without tear or tear,

wondering what is gained from all this pain of so real realities to bear …!

Rejoice! For insanity has lifted its voice to revel in its finest of hours,

as sadness of savage gladness secretly empowers those who devour,

to leave broken homes and broken lives for all those who did not die,

from the roaming devastation of a homing religion's pigeons of why …!

Lament! … For a lack of any heavenly sense to quench this killing season!

Cry! … For someone to explain the whys of such madness without reason,

when men wearing a taskmaster's mask parade in names of a religion,

devoid of mercy's right minded kindness in making mindless decisions …!

Give Atheists a wisp of prayer to call somewhere for a return to sanity!

Shout to the sky above wondering where is love rather than man's vanity!

Remember back when men were men of integrity, morals, and principles!

The caliber¹ of a man was the brand of his sand of good deeds done sensible!

You are waxing poetical with strong messages. Long subject.
You are aiming and firing the right words . Lots of crazy groups, governments, religious nuts had hijacked their religions with extremist ideas and wrong interpretations. They caused death, destruction, mayhem and genocides.
Atheists did too. Pagans did too. You name it. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
