From that fair land of anger, where the shamrocks grow, whiskey like tea for sippin’, another pint one's only woe,
tougher than a boot's leather, comes a clan oft hard to bill, eyes blue as the morning sun, hearty of spirit that clan Kill.
Never walked the green earth, men holding a candle to these, harder yet than tempered steel, salty like a morning sea breeze.
Raised in the land Monte Verde, the Green Mountains their home, winters there as cold as Alaska, just a little southeast of Gnome.
Two Vermonters come to Texas, hearts set on puttin’ down roots, never a sight did any Texan see, than a Yankee in cowboy boots.
They don’t come harder to know, some can take’em or leave’em, I’ve never known a finer friend, than are Malcolm and Stephen.
Helped so much by these brothers, a debt I cannot pay owed their till, so proud to know these fine men, each bearing the last name of Kill.
