“We
are but tiniest particle's pieces of fading reality upon the
Tapestry's Canvas of a Singularity's explosive Big Bang, resulting in
our Universe of existence within all Existence ever expanding outward
towards a sure and certain distant oblivion -- or Man's own
self-inflicted annihilation extinction.
For
the only true enemy Man possesses " is Man,
himself!
Man's
only hope of survival is to be found within Man determining, against
all odds, against every adversity, to cling to, and preserve, his own
humane
Humanity, as Man's Mankind that is The
Human Race ...”

We shall never make it through our childhood. I hate to say that, but that’s what my mind keeps telling me. We are too basic too selfish. I don’t think we’re gonna survive.

I do suspect that you may be right, but time will tell and we shall see, perhaps, that which we really do not wish to see in self deception of always seeking to surround our foolishly self deceptive existences around childish concepts like, i.e.: Life Insurance ... Hell is a Life could be assured, then we would never die in the first place, and so the idea is a sort of primitive prototype made use of by that grifter part of Humanity that aligns itself with Politicians & Bankers that promises to fulfill our fairytale dreams through schemes that bring mental peace by emptying our pocketbooks and lightening the seat of our intelligence pants ... Over time, the self delusions have become less and less benign and much more technological in design through P.C.'s with System Restores, Games with Resets, and of course A.I.: Advanced, or Alternate, Intelligence that may assist us to our own doom's version of Arthur C. Clarkes' Childhood's End, where Humanity loses his individual's Individuality of Man identity to oversight by Overlords most Alien, which really should cause us to add this pertinent possibility to the true meaning of the term A.I.: Alien Intelligence, which would and does fit the plot and outcome's ending of Clarke's novel that has Man harnessed to a Hive Mind of lost identity quite closely, if not to a tee ... In my book, Man seeks to think he can always recover, always fix, repair, and make right every fuckup that he creates in the making, when one day down the road we shall find that there was always nothing further from the truth, as I equate the loss of mental & physical diversity of individuality as being equivalent with nuking ourselves without the mercy of oblivion ... I do hope that you are wrong Tate, I hope that we are both wrong, I do think that we, both, are dead spot on of dead to rights in the night before that morning of Man come and gone ...

Yes, Marve, yes.
we are our own worst enemies...and we are plotting to destroy ourselves...
if only the better part of us can stave off that destruction.
