So many years pissed off and wasted -- precious gems scattered carelessly upon the shifting sands of this life -- as I face my own undeniable mortality, and know: I shall soon be no more, but only a fleeting shadow of a life gone by, ended, spent, no longer extant, relegated to existence as a memory of those who would remember me alive …
And yet, I have savored every moment of living, and have nary a single complaint against a gift that was worth every moment of living, mistakes and all, until that day, when time runs out, and there is no more -- me ...
