About as self explanatory as any belief in Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory ... Which are anything but, and are not ...

Each one has endured storms,

in living out daily lives,

torrential days of rain,

hail, and thunderous lightning cries,

to be wounded in torturous winds,

dirty as dusty knives,

in struggling to eek out existences,

in living lives alive,

pasting smiles upon faces,

in covering darkest frowns,

paled in sad anguish,

of dearest hopes tumbling down,

as all too often nightmares,

of what never went around,

seek vengeance visitations,

of payment coming 'round,

innocence without consequence,

as being no defense,

to that which life so chooses,

in happenstance events,

hopelessness being the only hope,

life has left un-rent,

as shattered dreams now appear,

as wasted effort spent,

knowing that watering lost hopes,

of crops gone a flop,

will only be bitter tears tasted,

as of water from a mop,

rivers of tears never serving,

as a cork, a plug, or a stop,

our bucket of hopes gone empty,

leaving not even a drop,

as we await tomorrows,

of days sunny without storms,

days' longingly anticipated,

expectantly awaited norms,

putting smiles upon our faces,

in sunshine most warm,

as once more tiniest glimmers,

of hope begin to form,

in yet believing all life's troubles,

will never visit again,

as wounds of yesterdays,

dare to scab over and mend,

all of our sorrows,

now thrown as caution to the wind,

in the ongoing cycle of believing,

life truly is a friend,

life's befuddling blunder storms

-- never again to contend …

This is very powerful, Marvin! I would have not said better in today's state of affairs at least for me personally and externally....
