A contemplation's meditation upon today …
… 'Twas only just a dream of yesterday -- for yesterday is that only tomorrow -- a day not yet birthed as to joy or sorrow a surprise package waiting to be unwrapped in promise of things to come, as yet, so untapped.
Volumes could be written as to its potential of explaining how tomorrows are so essential and, yet, we labor ever so frantically fervently in haste of never ceasing to waste precious time of endeavoring to make our tomorrows today …
… Rather than simply savoring this unique day as that one and only day of life that holds sway before this day, as today, in slipperiness slips away to see tomorrow as that yesterday become today until that day upon which arrives for us …
One and all -- and that without exception …
… That sorrow of no more tomorrows but only those yesterdays of when we lived, loved, laughed and played in time we but borrowed -- for yesterday is that only tomorrow ... (Written February 4th, 2019) © 2022 Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de GrahamFeatured Review
