I think man is fiction...
nature is real, no real needs, it nurtures itself.
and I think man might need all of these things just to impress woman.
But most of the time, they just want love and understanding, not ego.
I really like this piece, Marvin.

this piece is sort of a play on words and a bit of satire's sarcasm to the concept of God, God who has needs just like Man: Needs to be loved, needs to be worshipped, needs shelter, (Temple in Jerusalem & Mansions & a House in Heaven) needs food (Sacrifices upon the Altar, Shewbread), and damn sure needs money (Tithes & Offerings) ... Glad you enjoyed it ...
Good morning dear Marvin,
I can feel the underlying pain and sadness in your poem...and hoping that time will help mend some of the sorrow.
At the end and always ... man needs love..true love...
Hugs to you this morning from Spain, Lisa

Bearing in mind that this piece was written close to near a year and a half before my wife's death, the pain you feel is that of a man who had devoted his life to teaching a Gospel (Literally means God-Spell) that in time of in depth research and a touch of Seminary (Literally Semen, where the seeds are planed within the minds of ignorant superstitious men ready and willing to deceive and mentally enslave their fellow men as Man) is that which is revealed to pen of page as that inner rage of knowing and proclaiming that Man needs only Truth, and not Taxes, Tithes, & Lies ... You are a very sweet lady Lisa, and it is a grand honor to have met and to know you ... Please do tell your husband that I have said hello to, both, you and him ...
