Her problem?

The no bull's malarkey truth of it all?

She needed to be loved -- and that truly …

My problem?

I needed to feel truly loved -- and that for reals.

The sun of a beach1 of harshest reality?

Just when, after so many years,

of reaching, struggling, scrapping,

fighting, fussing, splitting up, and parting,

we had truly learned to get along

-- (to treasure one another in truest companionship,

live as a happily married husband and wife,

who had become, inseparably, closest of friends)

--suddenly, without any God's mercy of warning:

she was gone from my life forever!

And that, with never, ever, another day to see her somewhere,

never, ever, another day to sit and talk to her,

never, ever, another day left to me to hold her close,

never, ever, another day to caress her face,

to hold her closer than life's breath itself

-- and never, ever, let her go --

and tell her she was not just a part of my life,

because she was my life and my very reason for living,

for she was my all, she was my everything,

she was my every single breath I ever desired to breathe …

She was my peace in sleeping,

she was that light of my every waking moment,

of knowing how much I was blessed,

because, she was my wife, my all,

and my everything's reason for living,

for giving, for caring for others

-- as did she as the sweetest girl,

and the finest human being,

I have been blessed to, ever, know

and hold close to me during those times of night,

when a man is afraid inside, unspoken,

and only a woman can soothe those fears ...

You were that woman Irma2,

that girl who gave me flight,

in the deepest darkest of night,

as a light at the end of my tunnel,

while you so gently led me to the light,

that was always you alone, and no other

Raw feekings expressed here Marvin and understandably so. Marriage has to be worked and you certainly worked on yours with your dear Irma. It seems so cruel that when you had reached that wonderful point of closeness she was taken from you. This reader can clearly see just how adored by you she was. Not everyone achieves that. I feel such a torrent of mixed emotion here in your lines. Love for her, anger and grief that she has gone. A strong write. Take care while you grieve. Look after yourself.

Oh dearest Marvin,,, well, to begin with I love to Marriage photo... So lovely and I am quite sure it brings back so many memories.
To have loved is the greatest of all gifts.
And, to have lost ones love is by far the hardest of all the worlds sorrows.
I truly love all your lines but probably my most favourite lines are...
"Just when, after so many years,

we had truly learned to get along
-- (to treasure one another in truest companionship,

Being the very best of friends is so very wonderful..
