I am expected to just return to normal, get over it, because, after all, it's been five months since you passed.
But what those kind, caring, but inconsiderate dumb-asses, fail to see, is that within my heart time has not moved on no, not an iota's nanosecond, of even one grain of sand, of this life's hourglass, having passed, in you passing, from the land of the living, to the land of the dead and gone.
And for me, for me in losing the love of my life, it is, as if it happened -- only yesterday, and it hauntingly remains fresh, as an unbearable pain inflicted, upon my wounded heart and mind, and all the treasured memories, of you here, here with me -- as my love, my life, my beloved wife…
I kindly tip my hat, and I do humbly say: To hell with those filled with advice, those who have yet to suffer loss, suffer losing a spouse, the intimacy of a husband or wife, for they don't know diddly squat, about true loss, mourning, and grieving, and most certainly know nothing at all, about truly heartfelt and lived love, enduring and undying love
--love that lasts well beyond a lifetime.
