RICKY

Ah.

KENNEDY

Well, we’ve been working together

for almost two months now. Why are

you just now talking to me?

RICKY

I’ve been busy.

KENNEDY

Yeah right.

RICKY

It’s true.

KENNEDY blushes. They stand in silent

Ah, how sweet.

KENNEDY and RICKY quickly let go and look

out into the woods. There’s nobody there.

MARCUS

Over here.

They look behind them on the other side of

are unfamiliar with him.

MARCUS

I’m Marcus. Good to see, ya.

RICKY

What do you want?

MARCUS

To warn you.

RICKY

For what?

MARCUS

Not you.

MARCUS looks at KENNEDY. She seems surprised.

KENNEDY

Me?

RICKY

Kennedy?

MARCUS

Yes, I just wanted to tell you

a 2000 year old vampire’s coming

after you.

KENNEDY (SARCASTICALLY)

Vampire?

MARCUS

What? You don’t think vampires

are real?

KENNEDY

Uh, no.

MARCUS extends his fangs, smiling.

MARCUS

They are.

He retracts them.

RICKY

What do you mean ‘a 2000 year old

vamp is coming after her?

MARCUS

She likes you, Kennedy.

MARCUS runs away, fast, of course.

ABBY

I don’t know, really.

DANIELLE

Well, if any of the legends are

true, it had to be hard.

ABBY

Tingly...

DANIELLE

What?

ABBY

I think I have some kind of

power. I killed him, with my

hands. I shot out a ball of...

of light.

DANIELLE

Abby, I think I have a power, too.

ABBY

Don’t mock me.

DANIELLE

I’m not mocking you.

Reviews

Well, my my, ^.^ That escalated quickly. My heart is racing! It was fast pace and drew me in quicker then you can say "A 2000 year old vampire is coming for you." But (hopefully) I may be able to advise you on a couple of things. Just to let you know I am still working on understanding the correct film directories I.E the whole EXT part. My friend Mr Jim has advised me to purchase a book to help me. That aside I felt your characters were idle? I wasn't sure how you desired them to react. Of course you put sarcastic in some points, but the characters didnt show twitches or nervous scratches or anything. For me, if I was a director, Id like to see how it was meant to be shown, I'd like to now what reason each move has. Character definition is pretty important. You did have this covered on some characters, but Abby? is she higher class, does she speak with full words and correct punctuation, and with this how does she sit when she is in the chair? Perhaps she is sitting 'tensely' while on the couch, give us the impression she is waiting for her friend to come to the door. I would also consider that when she first casts the spell you give her a reaction to some man vampire dude? comes running at her. "In panic she raises her hands defencelessly but casts a spell towards FRAMPTON" This way your not saying that Frampton is hit with the spell as of yet so you still have the suspense of 'what just happened? did she kill the man? did it hit him' and then when he is smouldering dust we understand that she has killed him and we are confirmed that he is a vampire.

I would try to slow it down a little, its very very race, one event after another, this is normally what you would see in a climax, If you could try to introduce the characters in the first few moments that we see them we already get a basic outline off their attitudes. We don't want our actors building a character up from nothing now do we? Motives are a big thing, while we analyse texts we look to see what was intended with this move. Try to make your motives analysable but remember the audience is smarter then you think ;) But sometimes not smart enough :P I hope this helps. And as per your request I will rate this for you. I do help my advice helps you.
