Time is a test

i dunno

We are both screaming

not trying to figure it out

neither of us listening

we both continue to shout

 

i love you seems from another time

we just seem to fall apart

all of the arguing and yelling

just breaking both mine and your heart

 

i want to give up half the time

the other i just want to cry

we're both so sick of eachother

we find it to be no point to lie

 

so today as well yelled

i stood up and walked away

i couldnt handle any more screaming

and i had nothing else to say

 

its hard to believe sometimes

just months ago we were great

we were ready to have this baby

there wasnt a hint of hate.

 

though now as im walking

im reminded as you follow me

"i love you" you yell

and explain how you didnt see

 

we were both just so scared

and our nerves got the best

we now know not to give up

and that time is just a test
