I'm leaving today 
Goodbye is the hardest to say
I love you surely means nothing
When I'll be gone with the comforting 

I ask you to remember me
To see how I see.
Yet the tears are inevitable
And the pain unbearble 

Though it seems only days ago
That you believed I'd never go
I told you before I must leave
So please don't worry and don't grieve 

I will be okay
So goodbye I must say
I will surely see you again
And tell you of the places I have been,

These two parts were my favorite, though the whole thing was really great. I love reading it, and it hold a very curious statement, that when a loved one is left, all they've got from you are memories. It's painful but true and I appreciate the honesty you share in this piece. Thankyou for sharing
