I wanted to tell you I give up

I can't stand the tears at night

I wanted to tell you goodbye
I just can't make the call
I don't want to hear your voice
I am afraid I will fall

I can't forget your words
I know they are those of a teen
I wish I could just walk away
I want to remember what you mean

I know I have to let go
 I can't and won't 
I'm saying goodbye in this letter
I asked you to forget but please don't

I can't let you go
I know your not good for me
I still love you
I guess I will never learn to see
