A cry for help

Sometimes we don't hear their cry

I wanted you to hear my voice To listen to my scream. To know I'm afraid. To see things aren't what they seem. I wanted you to save me. To be there when I fall. To wipe my tears. To stop it all. I wanted you to hold me close. To listen and to understand.  To break all my fears. To hold my hand. I wanted you to remove my thoughts. To stop me. To take the gun. To help me see  this didn't have to be. I needed you there To show your love. To stop the shot But now I fly above.

Very beautiful piece. I love the conveyed message in here also about friendship. It happens between many friendships where there's one that's either suicidal, abusive, or just can't find anyone to listen to them. That's when you reach out and attempt to help the best you can. The consequence of ignoring such a cry is death, guilt, grief, and pain.

I can relate to this poem excpet the the last stanza, I've never made that kind of attempt, but anyways, I really love this poem.
