Just emptying my mind through a quirky story.

Street lights flashed red, symbolic to the dead of night. A golden row of street lights graced the path ahead. Only a distant pair of dimmed headlights contrasted the calm of night. The figurative blue wind blew through their hair, and completed their harmonious bond with the night. They were one, and they accepted it.. embraced it. His mind was a clash of vivid neons, the blues, greens, and reds blurred his vision from the dark sky that painted the canvas of dawn. Her mind was ablaze with fiery visions, as she could no longer control her scarlet heart from beating uncontrollably. He had not a clue of her mutual interest, as she too was unsure, so he hid behind his pale skin and shrunk into the night. Her flawless hand clenched tight resisting her passionate urge to reach for his and connect their two emotionally charged states. Both knew that some connection was within the rusted, silver sedan, but neither acknowledged its presence. At last, the boy, white faced with nerves, pulled the car to the side of the road, and without a word stepped out into the dark blue night. The girl, instinctively curious followed him out into the endless abyss. Around them were miles of maize and green lines of corn, and a deep crimson barn some fifty yards away. The young male took to a pace heading into the crops, never looking back. The beauty now in fear of falling behind swiftly responded and followed under the cream moonlight. A sprint hastened from the pace of the boy, and was repeated through the young girl's own feet. The world asleep around them, yet they remained in a state of pure bliss. Fireflies softly swirled above their heads, providing an amber hue to their strides. The fields of planted seeds ended unexpectedly and the boy dropped to his knees at the top of a hill laying above a rushing stream at the base of the valley. His eyes closed, he inhaled the air that lingered a hint of forest green pine. From the wall of stalks behind him, his love emerged. She was out of breath, tired, and confused. He laid back from his position and stared upwards towards the beige moon. She lay next to him and attempted to utter a question, but he interrupted her, "I'm sorry Sel, the night just couldn't end without me being with you in this perfect moment." He looked to her grinning ever so slightly awash in her deep brown eyes. She blushed a light shade of pink, as a tear of joy escaped her control. A strand of her dark brown hair fell onto her cheek, to which he brushed it away, and leaned in to kiss her. Their lips met in unison and time froze erupting their surroundings. The hill shook and the river rumbled, as the wind took upon it high speeds. The colors, that had made up the perfectly painted scene, began to leave their slates and mix in the air, blending all together and then swirling around each other. They danced around the couple and entered into the blank surroundings incorrectly, but ever so uniquely. The trees were the river blue, as the corn was now black contrasting the green sky. As their interlocking lips broke apart, they opened their eyes and she smiled, whispering, "You are the world to me." He replied, " Before you I knew no world, but each day I spend with you I discover it now exists because of you. I need you now, and forever. Oh Marie. I love you more than anything I can see."

Just a Suggestion
Not finished. I know it is really lacking any information towards plot or background. But this is just a scene from a story I have been working on for some time. It is most definitely one of the most unpolished versions, but I wanted to put something up to get a reaction. Thanks for any reviews or comments. They are definitely appreciated!
