In this year, so much I found

A new world, new life, a new me, so profound

 

In this year, I felt alone

No home, not a place, not a single one, none

 

In this year, I have seen

Sights and sounds that lie in secret in between

 

In this year, I have met

My one true love, the best, who gets better yet

 

I bid farewell to this year, and all of its joys

I bid farewell to this year and say goodbye with some noise
