Sick

Sick

A Poem by Michelle Raye
"

Sick of people who act like friends.

"

You cough on my words

And step on my beliefs

It's obvious to me

You have a disease

You laugh at my thoughts

And sneeze on my dreams

It's obvious to me

You have a disease

You started the rumors

You spread all the lies

It's obvious to me

You want me to die

So you'll spread this disease

And all of this schtick

It's obvious to me

You're sick

obviously, you're not happy
reminds me of how cruel people can be at times, especially in a social environment such as a school. though, having one person being mistreated by another is a common ground for a wide majority, and you use your creativity to create a poem from it.
allowing yourself to vent with poetry is a great way in handing stress in a non-violent manner, and hopefully writing this poem has helped you to vent your anger on whatever or whoever was bothering you at the time.

I love the imagery of how you show the other person being so dismissive of every aspect of you. Portrays the feeling beautifully!

girl, this really good! the sarcastic edge in it really fits great. Its short with few words but with outstanding expression. nicely cooked spagetti bolonese with spice! (my fav food without the spice)

I applaud you for this one.
