*~4~*A Chapter by Michelle Raye"I play guitar..."No one had heard or seen Aaron. Well, that's not entirely being truthful. Each one of us caught quick glances of the mysterious Aaron. Running out of his classes with a little yellow pass in his hands excusing him from the hour. With of course the homework from that hour tucked in his books. But that's all we saw of him. He stopped showing up to our little morning sessions on stage which worried us even more. After all, the stage was his sacred place. I began to grow more and more bored without Dreamer Boy. Matt and Mary are never bored, with or without Aaron. They had each other. As they stated often. I saw them sneak off a couple of times to have some alone time. So most of the time I was alone with my thoughts. And I had a lot to think about. Like my classes. What ever convinced me to take choir, I'll never know. I stood in line with everyone else and tried so hard not to fall asleep standing. It was so boring. "Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So" I stopped idway, unlike everyone else and noticed Aaron shupe. Peaking through the window of the classroom door. The teacher must of followed my gaze because he opened the door without the student's knock. "Yes, may I help you?" He said. "Ah, hello, Mr. Low!" Aaron said grinning. "I'm here to pick up one of your students! Michelle Raye, acutally." I pointed to me. Mr. Low gestured to me and I walked out into the hallway shutting the door behind me. Looking up, I didn't just see Aaron. I saw the PDA couple of the year too. Mary clung to Matt smiling at me. "You know, it's a good thing the teachers in this school could care less!" She laughed. Aaron, didn't say anything. He grabbed my hand and Matt's (Who was clinging to Mary) and dragged us with him through the hallways. He pulled us into the library and took us to the back section. "What on Earth is going on, Aaron? We haven't seen you in days." I asked. He didn't say a word. He was looking through the shelves in a hurry. Pulling off book after book. Suddenly he shoved a few of the large pile he had in my hands. Another pile in Mary's hands. and a little of the last bit to Matt. He kept the last three to himself. How to Play the Flute. For Dummies. The Keyboard and You. Violin Music Sheets From All Generations. I stared at the books handed to me and then looked up at Aaron. "Aaron, explain." I gave him a look. "Now." "We'll play it all." He said in a low deep voice. "Every instrument out there. We'll master it and play it for the world to see and hear." He looked at ther books in his hands. "I've been in here reading for the past few days. I've memorized a few. But it's difficult. I need help." Yeah, you do. I thought. "Join me, Matt, Mary and Michelle." His grin returned. And the three of us looked at each other. "Join me and become something great!" We all looked at each other. Everyone was silent for a moment. Then I smiled. "Something great." Escaped my lips in a whisper. "Something great." Matt said a little less softly than I. "Something great." Mary grinned. "That's what we'll become." we all knew what had to be done in order to become that. I sat on the floor and opened the first book. © 2009 Michelle RayeAuthor's Note
