Childish AmbitionA Poem by Victoria Lillian Lewis
I want you
I want your hands on top of mine I want you I want our fingers intertwined I want you I want the scent you breathe out into hot air I want you I want this midnight lust affair To desire is to trust The disease that thrills us To embrace your every fear The urge that pulls you near I want you I want your skin on my skin I want you I want to feel you from within I want you I want every whisper in your soul I want you I want to be everything you know Giving my permission to sin A quality that I submit To sense the yearning in your mind And to leave this morality behind I want you Like a child wants a pet I want you To be the memory I won't regret I want you Like the Sun wants to burn I want you To be the body that I learn Forgive me now I earned your trust A feeling where I lost the sense of us I lost my head and for sought my heart Now my desire tears us apart © 2013 Victoria Lillian LewisReviews
